PROJECT: WORLD HISTORY

This website is a portion of a 10-hour-long project created by a sophomore currently attending Yongsan International School of Seoul, South Korea, named Jonathan Park, to stress the importance of certain events that occurred in European history to shape, mold, and eventually destroy absolute power in the powerful nation of France.

COLLAPSE IN FRANCE

Through a number of events that have occurred in European history, absolute power, found in forms of monarchy and dictatorship, slowly lost its foothold in the foundation of France. Such events included the War of the Spanish Succession, the Thirty Years' War, the French Revolution, and Napoleon's downfall (which included the Continental System, the Peninsular War, and the Hundred Days). Had it not been for these specific events, the European government system would not be the same to this day.
